I'm pleased to announce the publication of "California's Future Is Creative," the first sector-specific report on the Creative Economy for the State.

This milestone reflects decades of advocacy by arts leaders, artists, culture bearers, and community partners across California. As a member of the Creative Economy Workgroup (CEW), it’s been an honor to help shape this effort in collaboration with the California Arts Council (CAC) and so many committed voices across the state. This report represents a meaningful step toward strengthening and sustaining our creative workforce and the communities we serve.

California's leadership in crafting this blueprint is just the beginning.

Now, the CAC is launching a Statewide Engagement Tour of public town halls. I invite you to stay connected as we will be sharing more information on San Bernardino County's townhall and we would love for you to lend your voice to help shape this next phase.
